FLC TRANSITION TOWN HALL
Sunday, April 27 · Between Worship Services, FLC Sanctuary
Over the past few months, we’ve been doing important work together in the midst of our pastoral transition at Farmington Lutheran Church. Your Transition Team has been gathering and analyzing feedback from the many, many conversations with groups and inviduals like you who care deeply about our faith community. Join us on April 27th in the FLC sanctuary between worship services as the Transition Team presents our Ministry Site Profile (MSP) to the congregation. The MSP is the primary document that tells our story and our hopes for the future. It will be used by our synod partners and Call Committee in the upcoming call process. You’ll have the chance to view the document, hear highlights from Transition Team leaders, and offer feedback as we finalize this part of the process.

We also want to provide a timeline update for the next key steps in the process. Here’s what to expect:

  • April 2025 - Write Ministry Site Profile (MSP), Hold Transition Town Hall, Begin Creating Call Committee

  • May 2025 - Finalize MSP & Send to Synod, Appoint Call Committee with FLC Council Approval

  • June 2025 - Call Committee Begins Work

We’re grateful for the good work of this community in this process. We’re confident it will bear good fruit for the future of our congregation!
Jared Rendell & Melissa Meyer, Transition Team Co-Chairs
