How much does a burial plot cost?
Full Burial: $800+ $75 marking fee = $875.
Full Burial 2 or more plots: $750 + $75 marking fee = $825 each.
The Funeral home takes care of the opening and closing of plots in full burials.
Cremation Burial Plot: $400 + $400 open/close fee + $75 marking fee = $875.
FLC Cemetery Committee marks the gravesites.
FLC Cemetery Committee opens and closes the plot in cremation burials.
The purchase price includes “perpetual care”. This is the upkeep of the plots and cemetery grounds.
Are only Farmington Lutheran Church members buried in the cemetery?
No, the cemetery is open to anyone regardless of their religious affiliation.
How do I purchase a monument for the grave site?
The funeral home can assist with that or we can give you monument vendors contact information and we will provide you with guidelines for size and placement.
Where is the cemetery located?
The cemetery is located southwest of Farmington on 245th Street in Eureka Township.
From Farmington Lutheran Church, turn left onto Akin Road. Continue south to Denmark Avenue and travel south approximately 3 miles. Turn right on 245th Street and travel 1.5 miles (crossing Essex Avenue). The cemetery is located on the right hand side.
