BREWED THEOLOGY IS TONIGHT!
Christians, Creation Care, & Climate Change
April 22, 7:00pm at Long Branch in Farmington
Happy Earth Day! Today, we give thanks to God for the beauty and wonder of creation. From the vast skies to the smallest seed, every part of the Earth reflects our Lord's love and care. As life springs up from the ground this season, we're reminded of our Christian calling to "guard and tend" creation. So, tonight's Brewed Theology will cover that ground. Special guest speakers Jeff Eisele and Dan Herscher will share their involvement with Third Act and Citizens' Climate Lobby. Whether you've been to Brewed Theology before or not, you're invited and welcome!

FLC TRANSITION TOWN HALL
Sunday, April 27 · Between Worship Services, FLC Sanctuary
Over the past few months, we’ve been doing important work together in the midst of our pastoral transition at Farmington Lutheran Church. Your Transition Team has been gathering and analyzing feedback from the many, many conversations with groups and inviduals like you who care deeply about our faith community. Join us on April 27th in the FLC sanctuary between worship services as the Transition Team presents our Ministry Site Profile (MSP) to the congregation. The MSP is the primary document that tells our story and our hopes for the future. It will be used by our synod partners and Call Committee in the upcoming call process. You’ll have the chance to view the document, hear highlights from Transition Team leaders, and offer feedback as we finalize this part of the process.
We also want to provide a timeline update for the next key steps in the process. Here’s what to expect:
April 2025 - Write Ministry Site Profile (MSP), Hold Transition Town Hall, Begin Creating Call Committee
May 2025 - Finalize MSP & Send to Synod, Appoint Call Committee with FLC Council Approval
June 2025 - Call Committee Begins Work
