On Wednesday, October 30th, we're hosting an event to share faith projects and stories to witness to God's faithfulness. Much like our 9th Graders' "Night of Sharing," we'll gather at 6:30 to see others' faith projects, and then to hear faith statements. You're welcome see and hear! And if you're interested in sharing your faith through a visual project, or 5-minute spoken statement, contact Pastor Ben.

HEAD START’S NEW GRAND FRIENDS PROGRAM
Head Start would like to invite grandparents to come in for about an hour to play with, read to, do art, etc. with the kids.  This is a start-up program that they would like to begin mid or late October.   It would happen from 9:30 to 10:30 on Mondays.  If you are interested, please connect Lois in the office.  Office@Farmingtonlutheran.com

PRAY FOR (AND WITH) STUDENTS
We're looking for caring adults that are willing to pray for some students! This year, our 6-9th grade PreCon and Confirmation students are going to be practicing prayer - and we're all going to do this together! We have FLC wristbands that say, "Remember You Are Loved." Each 6-9th student has one to wear and has signed their name on another. We're looking for adults to take a wristband (or two) and pray for a student (or two) by name. If interested, see the sign-up sheet, or ask FLC Staff.

FIRST WEDNESDAY MEAL VOLUNTEERS
Wednesday Meeals will begin again on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, and we know there are people who enjoy being a part of that community!  If you are interested the following dates are in need helpers:   Dec 4, 2024 and Feb 5, 2025 .  Arrive between 4 and 4:10 and stay to help cleanup.  We will be serving pizza, a veggie, fruit, lemonade or water, and a dessert.  Please contact Linda Morris, 952-797-2883 or leave your info in the church office.  Thanks in advance for your willingness to help!

LISTENING SESSION
Sunday, October 20, between worship services

Got Questions? Have an Opinion?
Here's the first of many chance to talk about our pastoral transition at FLC. Pastor Dana will host initial conversations about our transition process on October 20 between services [in the library]. We'll get the conversation started about what ‘s working at FLC, what we can do better, what our staff should look like when the transition is over, and the steps it will take to get there. PD will talk a bit about the interim process, but mostly he wants to hear what the congregation is saying and what everyone wants to know.
