BREWED THEOLOGY: ONE MORE!
Topic: Troubling Times/Guided by Gratitude
Tuesday, June 25 at 6:00pm
Whether you've attended or not, there's one more chance this year to gather over some "Crafted Conversation." On June 25th, Brewed Theology is coming to FLC's grounds! We'll set up picnic tables, light a campfire, fire up the grill, and have a conversation about Gratitude. Amid all the division, busyness, and consumerism in our world, we're going to take some time to talk about the life-giving, community-strengthening, resentment-quashing power of gratitude. This will be a BYOB (bring your own beverage) event, and BYOM (bring your own meat) to put on the grill. Be sure and RSVP HERE so we can prepare to be community together.

CURRENT VOLUNTEER NEED - Food Rescue Drivers
One or two people to go to the Target store north of Farmington (on Pilot Knob Road) at 7:00 am on Saturday mornings to load boxes of produce, bread and meat. A van or truck is needed to deliver the boxes back to the Farmington Food Shelf by 7:30 am where they will meet other volunteers at the Tiger Learning and Legacy Center located at 510 Walnut Street in Farmington. The food is then weighed, sorted and stored by the volunteers. The volunteers are usually done and finished with this task by 8:30 am. The commitment we are looking for would be once per month. If interested, please contact Karen Brownawell at 651-356-2980 or rhpositive03@yahoo.com. Training is provided.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS AND PARENT LEAVE
There is a lot going on this summer, so while Farmington Lutheran office has switched to it’s summer office hours schedule, times may vary some days. Staff has plans for camps, retreats, offsite rehearsals, and most exciting- Pastor Ben and Pastor Kristen are expecting their fourth child! Pastor Ben and Pastor Kristen will be off for 6 weeks enjoying time together as a family. Pastor Ben will return mid-August, and Pastor Kristen a few weeks later.
The office is scheduled to be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, but we do ask that you call ahead or email staff in advance to be sure someone is here when you stop by.
