Acorn Update
As we reflect on Holy Week and Easter, we want to take a moment to express thanks to the amazing volunteers who made it all possible! From setting up the beautiful decorations to readers, acolytes, communion assistants and worship hosts, each one of you has played a vital role in creating a meaningful experience for our community. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and love with us throughout this season.

All programming is off this week (children, youth, and music). Regular Wednesday programming will resume Wednesday, April 10th. (Sunday FLC Time resumes Sunday, April 7).

Reminder to all 6th graders and their families! Wednesday, April 10 is the final Supper on the Second for the year. Dinner and conversations start at 5:30pm.
PLANT SALE - YOUTH FUNDRAISER
Orders due Sunday, April 21
FLC campers and youth are selling plants from the Eisele Greenhouse to support their summer trip experiences. Options and order forms are available outside the office. Orders are due Sunday, April 21. Plants will be delivered Tuesday, May 14. You can find more information and order forms HERE.
COMMUNITY GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS
Living with the heavy load of grief? Whether the source of that grief is recent or not, a grief support group could help. There are two current or upcoming grief support groups being offered in the community. The first is “Coffee and Conversation for Widowers,” which is sponsored by Minnesota Hospice. The group meets the last Tuesday of the month from 9:30-11:00 am at the Dakota County Heritage Library in Lakeville. There is no cost, but registration is required. The second opportunity is called “Growing Through Loss” and is sponsored by The Interdenominational South Suburban Grief Support Coalition. This group will meet Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00 pm, beginning April 9 and continuing through May 7, at St. James Lutheran Church in Burnsville. This month’s Food on the Fourth will take place on Sunday, April 28 during both 8:30 and 10:30 worship services. Pick up a bag in the gathering space next weekend and bring it back the following with non-perishable food items. Below is a list of items requested by the foo shelf this month.
