Homeless Relief Collection

Among our calls as Christians is caring for the "least of these" (Matthew 25:40). Recently in Minneapolis, a fire destroyed an encampment of people experiencing homelessness. While the issues surrounding homelessness are complex, a simple truth is that a number of people who had very little now have nothing. FLC is collecting items to meet some needs (see the list here). Thanks for your participation.

MN FOOD SHARE MARCH CAMPAIGN 2024

Farmington Food Shelf is participating in the MN Food Share Campaign. Donations may be dropped off on Mondays and Thursdays from 11am-5:30pm. The address is 510 Walnut Street, south side of the building, door #19.  Monetary gifts are always welcome too. Checks should be made out to the Farmington Food Shelf if the donor wants the money to go directly to our local Farmington Food Shelf. This is an important campaign, as the more we collect, the more grant money we will receive from MNFoodShare. Our visits doubled in 2023 and the need continues to grow! Thanks for your continued support. Donations need to be received by April 4th to get counted in this year's drive. Below is a link to the Food Shelf website and Facebook page.
