BRewed Theology IS TONIGHT!
Tuesday, November 28 at 7:00pm

Happy Holidays! Brewed Theology is back in November with “Happy Holidays: The “War” on Xmas.” We’ll explore the roots of Christmas, what the “war on Christmas” is (or isn’t), and how we can recognize the diversity of faiths and holidays in December while claiming the coming of Jesus the Christ. See you November 28 at 7:00pm, at the Long Branch, in Farmington.

Service of Comfort & Hope
Monday, December 4 at 7:00pm

As the Christmas season nears, so can feelings of loss, loneliness, and grief. We're taking an evening to recognize Advent and Christmas as difficult seasons at our service of Comfort & Hope on Monday, December 4th at 7 pm. Come for quiet music, scripture, and a word of promise. The service will also be live-streamed.

FIRST WEDNESDAY MEAL & WORSHIP
Wednesday, December 6
Meal at 4:45pm, Worship at 5:30pm

“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear." (Buddy the Elf) We'd love your help to spread some Christmas cheer! Bring your family and friends to First Wednesday Worship on December 6 at 5:30 for some Christmas fun. (Come early, starting at 4:45, for pizza! $5/person) We'll sing some favorite Christmas songs (led by numerous high school and adult instrumentalists!), hear a little about the Christmas story, and have some hot chocolate. Can't wait to see (and hear) you there!

Do you play a brass, wind, or string instrument? Those in high school as well as adults are welcome to participate in our First Wednesday Worship service on December 6, at 5:30pm. We will lead familiar Christmas songs for the congregation to sing. Please contact Karissa@farmingtonlutheran.com if you are interested so she can provide music ahead of time for you to practice. It will be fun!

KIC COOKIE BAKING
Friday, December 8 at 7:00pm

4th, 5th and 6th graders! You’re invited to make cookies and other treats for the Christmas program. The plan will be to meet at church at 7:00 pm and then make and bake cookies/treats until 9:00 pm. Sign up HERE.

If you’d be interested in donating items or helping out with this event. Check out the list HERE. Items being donated need to be dropped off at FLC on or before the 8th of December.

INTERGENERATIONAL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Sunday, December 10 at
8:30 and 10:30 worship services

FLC is excited for this year’s NEW Spontaneous Unrehearsed (sort of) Christmas program! The story is new (and old), and we need your help to tell it! If you’re a high school student or adult, we’d love for your assistance to help the program run smoothly! Follow the link HERE to sign up.
Hoping to practice the songs before the program? You can find them all HERE.
