Recognizing the Signs & Symptoms of Adolescent Depression

April 11, 2012 7-8PM

One in three 9th graders reported they had thought about killing themselves. This session will describe the signs and symptoms of adolescent depression and provide steps parents can take to talk with their teens about mental health issues. Participants will also receive information about local resources as well as discuss the “ins-and-outs” of getting mental health services.
