Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! This is an exciting time for both of you and we are pleased that you have decided to consider taking this important step at Farmington Lutheran Church. We know that you may have lots of questions that you need answered before you decide on a church to get married at so we have included some of the more common ones below.

Farmington Lutheran Church is located at 20600 Akin Road, Farmington, MN 55024.  We are located within 20 miles of 13 different Wedding reception sites.

What does the building look like?

Farmington Lutheran Church's Sanctuary seats up to 450 guests.

What does it cost to get married at Farmington Lutheran Church?

There are a variety of factors when it comes to calculating the costs of getting married at Farmington Lutheran Church.  Click HERE to view the Fee Schedule.

A $100.00 non-refundable deposit will be required from both members and non-members to hold your wedding date on Farmington Lutheran’s calendar. This deposit applies fully towards your fees for performing your wedding at Farmington Lutheran.

Does Farmington Lutheran offer any sort of Pre-Marital counseling or training?

Upon confirming your wedding date and putting down a deposit with Farmington Lutheran Church you will be meeting with the pastor and instructed on how to complete the PREPARE Inventory. This survey will be taken by you and your fiancée online and the survey results will be discussed as part of your marriage preparation with the pastor.

You are both strongly encouraged to participate in a Marriage Preparation Class. Please be advised that the State of Minnesota offers a discount on a marriage license for couples who participate in a 12-hour marriage prep course.  Farmington Lutheran Church does not offer any Marriage Preparation Classes but we will point you in the right direction if you are interested in participating in one.
